Basically, the same thing happened to me in Illinois with multiple IDs from driver's license/retired military/VA ID/Il F.O.I.D Card and Soc.Sec.. then a proof of address by utility bill and a supervisor then they noticed I'd been a "Judge of Elections" for over 30 years and handed me a regular ballot!
My youngest son had moved 200 miles away over 8 years ago and I mailed in his change of address on his voters' registration card signed by him and keep informing the circuit clerk of that change every year with no change, though the bi-annual update cards did stop! When early voting my son was still on the active roles here and north of Chicago!
